Magicians representing the Futsalroos

During Premier League off season there was been some Magicians making some headway with our long serving members Ediz Alpkaya and Marino Musumeci making their debuts for the Futsalroos in the recent Oceania Futsal Championships in New Zealand. Those two boys joined Futsalroo superstar Daniel Fogarty on tour which saw the Aussie boys return with an unblemished record. Congratulations to all 3 boys on reaching the pinnacle of their chosen sport.

Magicians Generation Next

The club would like to congratulate club captain Marino Musumeci and his lovely wife Charlene Pose Musumeci on the birth of their healthy son Alessandro. Mum mum and bub are doing extremely well. On behalf of the entire club congratulations guys. Next generation of magicians have started

The club would also like to congratulate goal keeper Joshua Da Palma and his lovely wife Diana Da Palma on their birth of their baby daughter Mya. Both mum and baby are doing perfect. On behalf of everyone associated with the club congratulations.

For the hatrick the club would like to pass on well wishes to former Magic Club Captain and Futsalroo goalkeeper Peter Spathis and his wife Katy on the birth of their second son Sebastian. Congratulations guys.


More Magicians Hitting the headlines

With names such as Vedran Janjetovic, Terry Antonis, Brendan Hamill, Servet Uzunlar and Teresa Polias all having come through Magic and made their names in the A league and W leagues, the next generation of young Magic stars are being selected for the next stages of their footballing career.

The club would like to congratulate Liam Rose who recently was signed by the Central Coast Mariners. Rosey was a member of the undefeated Premiers and Champion u/14 Magic team 2 seasons ago. Since then Rosey has made numerous Australian and teams and spent the past 2 seasons at the A.I.S. We wish Liam all the best in the future and for the up coming season for the Mariners.

Martin Lo is another young star who has been with IWMagic for a number of years. Marty along with Rosey was part of the undefeated Premier and Championship winning u/14 Boys team as well as being apart of the Magic team of the year numerous times. Marty has recently been signed by the Western Sydney Wanderers and has already made an impact with the first team having travelled with the squad on their recent asian tour. Continuing on our rich tradition of having talented players come through the Magic ranks one of the clubs most talented players to don the famous orange jersey Alusine Fofanah has signed with the Western Sydney Wanderers. Joining the club as a 12 year old Alusine has won it all, Magic player of the Year, FNSW U/14s Player of the year, Nationals Golden Boot, Nationals Champion and even a trip to Manchester City. As skilful and tricky as they come Alusine joins good friend and another Magician Marty Lo in the red and black of the Wanderers this season. We wish Alusine all the best in his quest to break into the Wanderers first team.

The club would also like to congratulate Rhianna “Mini” Pollicina on her selection to the u/17 national side which will compete at the AFC championships next month. At only 16 years of age Mini has already tasted action in the clubs Open women’s team as well as being a member of the inaugural F League winning Sydney Scorpions side. From everyone at the club, congratulation min.
